Boy...talk about a great picture.  We found this on the web and just had to show it.  What a sight!!!
This is a picture of a young lad getting into the hobby with much excitement.  His name is Aaron Narance and he is from Galion, Ohio.  Aaron is holding Shorty's Basement newest kit, the Competitor.

This is a picture of a customer who purchased the Scientific Fury on Wednesday, July 16, 2008 in Geneseo, NY.  This gentleman (whose name escapes me for now...I will add it when I can remember) stayed up all night and built the model in the hotel lobby and flew it on Saturday, July 19, 2008.

Here are pictures of the first "Scorpio" built from one of Shorty's Basement kits using wood supplied in the kit as well as all hardware...i.e. hooks, eyes, D/T thread...everything needed to complete the model.  Finished model as seen in the pictures came out at 19 1/2 gm.  Model took less than one week to build using C/A for the fuselage and carbon fiber and Testor's green tube for the wing construction.  Tissue was pre-shrunk on frame before attaching to model.  Two light coats of Krylon Clear applied afterwards.  The parts fit and quality of the wood is unbelievable.  The second picture shows the D/T.

and here is a picture of one of my customer's going goo-goo and gaa-gaa over the Scorpio (we wiped the drool off before it got on the model)...

Here is a quote from Steve Bage, who designed the Scorpio along with a video of his model flying...launched by his son, Callum.

"The kit really is to top quality, the wood selection and laser cutting is about the best I’ve seen in any kit and all the little finishing touches really makes it stand out. You have done my design proud! I hope it proves to be a good seller."
