Shorty's Basement has been in business since 2002.  My husband, Dan Kane, has been involved with the hobby and the industry since the 1950's.  There are now three generations of Kane's in the hobby.  The oldest son, Daniel, did represent the USA in Romania the summer of 2006 in R/C Pylon.  The grandson, Jack (now 7 years old), flew in his first contest in Sept. 2005 and placed second in the event.

I enjoy the comaraderie with modellers.  I know most of the modelers as I do attend quite a few of the contests throughout the summer across the country.
